About the role
The Nurse Educator collaborates with nursing leadership to develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing clinical caregivers' competencies. They utilize educational theories and change-management strategies to improve staff proficiency, patient safety, and clinical outcomes. The role involves partnering with operational managers, interdisciplinary teams, and clinical educators to align educational initiatives with organizational goals and promote excellence in nursing practice. The position advocates for a culture of teamwork, clinical expertise, and continuous improvement in patient care quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs for clinical staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational initiatives.
- Apply adult learning principles and educational theories.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements.
- Support a culture of clinical excellence and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Washington RN license required.
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in ambulatory care.
- Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification.
