About the Role
This is a full-time contract position for a Nurse Educator based in Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational programs, orientations, and competency assessments for nursing staff
- Mentor nurses and provide ongoing clinical guidance and professional support
- Identify training needs and collaborate with leadership to enhance clinical performance
- Promote evidence-based practices and uphold hospital policies and accreditation standards
- Support the development of a culture focused on quality, safety, and professional growth
Qualifications & Skills
- Active New York State RN license
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute or specialty nursing experience
- Previous experience as a nurse educator, preceptor, or instructor (preferred)
Pay
$85/hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Day shifts, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
