Nurse Educator

About the role

Jersey College is seeking Full Time Nurse Educators to join our dedicated team of Registered Nurse Instructors. We are committed to providing high-quality clinical instruction and fostering the academic growth of our students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care settings.
• Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that encourages students' academic growth and professional development.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for students.
• Evaluate student competence based on the program's philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation methods to assess student learning and clinical experience, measuring progress and competency.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
• Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Valid State RN license required.
• At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
