About the role

Join us in our mission as a Nurse Educator at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services. You will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Responsibilities

• The coordination and implementation of the AMAP Medication Certification class and AMAP refresher to be held monthly.
• This includes observing the staff complete their medication pours observations for medication administration certification.
• The planning and implementation of other educational programs and trainings for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Maintaining a small residential caseload.
• Adhering to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the agency’s business plan(s) and/or other oversight entities such as, but not limited to; OPWDD, CDC, DOH.

Qualifications

• A valid NYS Driver’s License.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing.
• A current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License.
• 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Pay

Nurse Educator Minimum Salary: $77,976
Nurse Educator Maximum Salary: $80,028

Schedule

M-F, 8:30am - 5:00pm
*may include some on call responsibility*
