About the Role
A Nurse Educator responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs in compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide staff education, oversee new hire and clinical orientation.
- Facilitate annual provider training and ensure ongoing competency validations.
- Develop and manage computer-based learning modules.
- Oversee certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
- Address educational needs through direct follow-up and departmental meetings.
- Conduct regular rounds and attend staff meetings.
- Provide on-demand training to support clinical staff.
- Collect and report data related to educational activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Work clinical shifts as needed.
- Participate in goal-setting and ongoing education.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience in program development preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Master's degree in education is advantageous.
- Experience in surgical services is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to collaborate effectively.
