About the role
We are seeking a motivated, highly experienced cardiology nurse to lead, influence and deliver our cardiac services across NHS Shetland. The post is based in secondary care outreaching to Primary Care.
Responsibilities
- Lead the cardiac nursing team
- Ensure safe and effective evidence-based, person-centred cardiac care is delivered
- Deliver heart failure nurse-led clinics
- Deliver cardiac rehabilitation
- Support the cardioversion service
Requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, and teaching skills
- An enthusiasm to develop new ideas
- Proven evidence of professional development, advanced practice, determination, drive, and commitment
- The ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team setting across all settings
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a degree in nursing and registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
