For information about this plan, please visit the Faculty & Staff Benefits website at https://www.umsystem.edu/departments-staff/human-resources/benefits-retirement/retirement/core-voluntary-plans - Equal Employment Opportunity boilerplate: remove. We need to decide sections. We have content for: - About the role: maybe the introductory paragraph(s) describing role, impact, etc. - Responsibilities: list of duties (assess patient, implement protocol, collect data, start IVs, draw blood, administer questionnaires, administer investigational meds, monitor adverse events, administer hemodynamic tests, etc.) - Requirements: maybe Minimum Qualifications (BSN, 2 years RN experience, MO RN license, etc.) - Qualifications: maybe similar to Requirements? Could combine? But we need to decide which sections to include. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we can combine similar info. We have Pay: Salary range $36.19 - $41.34 hourly. Schedule: Shifts 4-12 hours, primarily evenings, nights, weekends; need 24 hours per three-month period; can accept/decline shift. Benefits: Not eligible for University benefits; can participate in 403b plan. That's substantive. Physical Demands: Could be part of Responsibilities or a separate section? Not listed as a standard heading; but we could include under Responsibilities or maybe a separate "Physical Demands" but not in allowed headings list. The allowed headings are: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we must fit content into those. Physical demands could go under Responsibilities (as part of job demands) or maybe under Requirements? Probably Responsibilities. Skills: Could list clinical skills: assessment, critical thinking, IV starts, blood draw, medication administration, hemodynamic testing, etc. Could be separate. We need to avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID etc. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, sponsorship info? Sponsorship info maybe not needed but could be included under Requirements? Probably not needed; we can drop. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all details: e.g., "Complete required clinical research IRB training (CITI human subject and Good Clinical Practice)." "Industry-sponsored specific study training." etc. We need to ensure we don't lose any detail. Let's extract all substantive bullet points: From description: - Assess patient/participant status - Implement clinical trial protocol interventions - Partner with highly respected clinical research teams - Learn new skills and understand how new medications or devices are tested, approved and on the market - Primarily nights and weekends shifts - Could be comprised of “last minute requests” for shifts based on participants who meet entry criteria in the moment - Opportunity to experience wide variety of participants from infants, children and adults - Learn more about clinical research nursing careers and work in state-of-the-art clinical research & trial units at University Hospital and NextGen building - Complete required clinical research IRB training (CITI human subject and Good Clinical Practice) - Industry-sponsored specific study training - Use clinical skill to assess patients who are also research participants and carry out clinical research activity per protocol - Collect research participant data/information as outlined in study protocol or nursing workflow sheet such as demographics, medication history, health history, height, weight, blood pressure - Start IVs and draw blood per study protocol - Administer questionnaires per study protocol - Administer investigational medication products and monitor participant for adverse events - Following clear instructions and guidelines, administer various hemodynamic tests such as spirometry, blood glucose testing, etc. - Monitors for adverse events post-dose of investigational products and communicates concerns with investigative team - Role will be supported by hospital services such as IV and rapid response teams as needed - Shift are 4-12 hours each - You will have the choice whether to accept or decline a shift when offered - Required to clock 24 hours per three-month period to maintain position - Annual mandatory training required to maintain position - Physical demands: active, occasional ambulating, reaching, moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs; rarely participant lifting/moving; minimal assistance with participant ADLs such as bathing, repositioning or cleaning - Minimum Qualifications: BSN or equivalent; 2 years RN experience in area of specialization; Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN; if primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state within 30 days - Salary range: $36.19 - $41.34 hourly; Grade: PAT - RN4; University Title: Nurse Clinician (internal applicants can determine via Talent Profile) - Benefit eligibility: not eligible for University benefits; individuals may choose to participate in Tax Deferred Annuity Plan (403b); link provided. We also have "Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range: $36.19 - $41.34 hourly Grade: PAT - RN4 University Title: Nurse Clinician Internal applicants can determine their university title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR." That's pay. We have "Application Materials In addition to the Online Application, please provide Resume and cover letter." Remove. We have "Sponsorship Information Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position." Could be considered substantive but not under allowed headings; maybe we can drop as not required? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; but we must fit into allowed headings. If we cannot fit, maybe we can include under Requirements? But it's about visa sponsorship; not a qualification. Could be omitted? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; but also says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Sponsorship info is not exactly those categories; it's substantive. However, we have no section for sponsorship. Could we include it under Requirements? Not really. Could we add a separate section? Not allowed headings. The instruction says "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It gives examples but maybe we can use other headings? It says "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." That suggests those are the allowed headings; we should not create other headings. So we must fit sponsorship info somewhere else, maybe under Requirements as a note? But it's not a requirement; it's a limitation. Could be placed under Requirements as a note: "Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position." That's still substantive. We'll include it under Requirements maybe as a bullet. Similarly, Benefit Eligibility info goes under Benefits. Physical demands maybe under Responsibilities. Skills maybe under Skills. We need to avoid duplication. Let's craft sections:
