About the role
The Field Nurse Case Manager role is a field/home-based position covering Chattanooga and surrounding communities. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the medical needs of injured/disabled individuals. This role involves working with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and reporting progress to both parties.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and managing the medical needs of injured/disabled individuals
- Coordinating with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees
- Implementing and evaluating treatment plans
- Reporting progress to employers and insurance carriers
- Working with catastrophic cases as needed
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered RN license in TN
- Experience in case management of workers' compensation cases, preferred
- Willingness to learn and take on catastrophic cases
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred, must be obtained within two years of hire
Qualifications
- Organization and timeline adherence skills
- PC and technology skills
- Communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
- Skilled at patient education
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history

Schedule
