About the role
We are seeking a full-time, 0.75 - 1.0 FTE (30-40 hours per week), benefited Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the Springfield/Joplin, MO, area. This is a field/home-based position with travel up to 2 hours one-way (4 hours round trip per appointment) to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and various other locations. There may be multiple appointments in one day.
This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker, reporting results back to the employer and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate medical case management for work-related injuries.
- Work with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees.
- Monitor the progress of injured workers and report results back to employers and insurance carriers.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in MO.
- Experience in case management of workers' compensation cases (preferred).
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred; required within two years of hire.
Skills
- Strong organization and timeline adherence.
- Proficiency with PC and technology.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Skilled at patient education.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving history.
Pay
This is a salaried position. Base salary range at 0.75 FTE is $66,000–$71,000 annually. At 1.0 FTE, base salary range is $87,000–$92,000 annually.
