Job Summary

The Nurse Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the appropriate licensed nursing personnel. The primary responsibility includes providing basic patient cares such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning. The Nurse Assistant also supports patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds and effective communication with all team members.

Job Details And Requirements

  • Time Type: Full time (72 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits
  • Typical Hours: Day Shift, 7am to 7pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED- required. Successful and proof of completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum that meets the minimum training standards as outlined in 19 CSR 30-20.125 required or: has documented experience as a Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Room Technician or Surgical Technician in the past three (3) years; or has completed a LPN program outside the US and is awaiting the licensure examination; or is a nursing student who has completed fundamentals or equivalent course; or was a nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure examinations in the past three (3) years; or is certified as a nursing assistant as defined in section 198.082, RSMo.
  • Certifications & Licensures: BLS Certification
  • Experience: Previous hospital or nursing home experience-preferred
  • Previous Computer Experience: preferred
