Nurse Assistant 8E MHB

Part-time (0.626667 FTE) position with benefits, represented by CWA Local 1133. Non-exempt from overtime.

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:15 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation

About the Role

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the patients and/or nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties requiring sufficient mental and physical health to withstand strenuous activity, bending, lifting, and walking
• Meet the needs of acute-care patients
• Maintain continuous awareness of safety measures in patient care
• Assist other hospital staff in direct patient care

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• BLS certification within six (6) months of hire/transfer
• No prior experience required
• Computer literacy
• Ability to read with comprehension
