Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a Nurse Apprentice to join their Emergency Department team. They are seeking a self-driven individual with a passion for learning who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks.
• Perform various nursing care services and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the direction and supervision of the licensed nurse.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
• Six months Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric as applicable).
