About the Role
This position directs and coordinates members of the care team, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards. The role involves developing the patient plan of care in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient/family. As a qualified anesthesia provider, the incumbent administers anesthesia and related services as delineated by state licensing guidelines, hospital rules and regulations, and supervisory physician.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate care team members to provide individualized, high-quality patient care.
- Develop patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient/family.
- Administer anesthesia and related services in accordance with state licensing guidelines and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS certification required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required prior to the end of the orientation period.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required prior to the end of the orientation period.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
- One (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years in an acute care setting.

Schedule
- Full Time (1.0 FTE).
- 4-10 hour shifts.
- Varied shift schedule.
- Eligibility for shift differential pay based on company policy or union contract.
