Nurse Ambulatory Surgery

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR
- Care for patients before, during, and after procedures
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for surgical patients
- Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies
- Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Technical School or Vocational School)
- One (1) year experience as an RN in an acute care setting or successful completion of applicable clinical and didactic SRDH specialty training course(s)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR (American Heart Association)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- One (1) year experience as an RN in Same-Day Surgery (SDS)
