Nurse Aide Training Program Fall Session 2026

Pay Rate: $16.56 hourly

Schedule

Training session: September 14th through October 30th, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

About the role

This is an employer-paid Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) approved by the NYS Department of Health. The program prepares trainees with the knowledge and skills to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Training includes classroom instruction, lab work, and clinical experience focused on caring for the geriatric population.

After successfully completing the program, trainees are eligible to take the New York State Prometric Nursing Assistant Examination through Jewish Home of Rochester. Upon certification, trainees transition to the role of Certified Nursing Assistant at the Jewish Home of Rochester.

Requirements

• Must be able to attend all training sessions from September 14th to October 30th, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• High School Diploma or GED (High School Equivalency)
