Nurse Aide Training Program

Responsibilities

• Able to work required shifts at Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
• Provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors
• Reports any changes to the Nurse or designated charge person immediately
• Supervise, assist or provide showers and baths
• Supervise, assist residents to dress/undress
• Assure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident

Requirements

• Successful completion of the CNA training program
• Passing the State Board Certification Exam

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check

Pay

• $15.00 per hour

Schedule

• Classes Monday - Thursday, 7:00a - 3:00p for 5 weeks
• Shift: Full-Time
