Nurse Aide - OHICU - 6155 (Full Time)

The St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a Full Time Nurse Aide for their Orthopedic department. The Nurse Aide assists in providing basic patient care activities for which they have been prepared, as well as non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient bathing and grooming
• Help with feeding and medication administration
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Support with light housekeeping duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
