About the role

Nurse Aide position available at St. Mary's Medical Center to assist with basic patient care activities and non-professional services necessary for patients' personal needs and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes to healthcare providers
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Administer medications as directed by a physician or nurse
• Clean and maintain patient rooms and equipment
• Provide emotional support to patients and families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Passing score on a state-administered competency exam
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
