About the Role
As a Nurse Aide in Training, you'll work under the supervision of licensed nurses while completing a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program. You'll develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to become a successful Certified Nursing Assistant while providing compassionate care to residents.

What You'll Learn
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Safe resident transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance

Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assist residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Help residents with meals, hydration, and comfort needs
- Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and transfers
- Answer call lights and respond to resident requests
- Make beds and prepare resident rooms
- Assist with meal service and dining room support
- Organize resident rooms and personal belongings
- Clean and sanitize resident care equipment
- Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to the nursing team
- Follow infection prevention and safety procedures
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
- Participate in orientation, in-service education, and ongoing training
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enroll in, a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program
- BLS/CPR Certification preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Desire to build a long-term career in healthcare
