About the Program

This 4-week (18 days, Monday–Friday) state-approved course provides the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to become a certified nursing assistant and pass the state competency exam. Learn essential skills to provide hands-on care and support medical teams in long-term care facilities.

What You Will Learn

• Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating)
• Monitoring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
• Infection control and safety procedures
• Patient communication and privacy (HIPAA)
• Caring for cognitively impaired residents (e.g., dementia care)
