Nurse Aide I & Clinical Secretary, Mother/Baby
About the Role
The Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary provides secretarial support to patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient, customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively supports and incorporates WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The four key concepts of PFCC are:
- Dignity and Respect: Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices.
- Information Sharing: Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful.
- Participation: Encourage and support patients and families in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with patients, families, and the Nurse Aide I/Clinical Secretary in the delivery of care.

Requirements
- Nurse Aide I licensure (Required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 1 year of healthcare experience (Preferred)
