About the role
Serves patients/residents in a nursing capacity, performing a variety of duties including but not limited to assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, feeding and ambulating patients, maintaining cleanliness, observing and reporting changes in condition, and performing administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
- Assists with personal hygiene and vital signs.
- Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to specific procedures.
- Maintains patient/resident rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
- Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
- Orients patients/families to unit and instructs on safety measures.
- Performs clerical duties such as answering phones, entering data, and maintaining medical records.
- Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
- Performs technical tasks such as administering a 12-Lead ECG and routine venipuncture, as appropriate.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift and support up to 35 pounds.
- Must speak and understand English in good understandable terms.
- Must have manual and finger dexterity.

Pay
$19.80 - $29.70 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
36 hours per week, some weekend and holiday requirements.
