About the Role
The Nurse Administrator – RN is a full-time, on-site role based in Reading, PA. This role oversees nursing services within Threshold’s programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with diverse support needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care plans.
- Manage medication administration processes and monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff training on healthcare and behavioral health practices.
- Contribute to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform direct nursing assessments and communicate with external healthcare providers.
- Maintain regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania, in good standing.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health, developmental, or physical challenges is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism in a team-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Nursing and Medicine skills, including comprehensive clinical assessment and care planning.
- Nursing Management and Healthcare Management skills, with experience overseeing staff and coordinating services.
- Medication Administration skills, including safe practices, monitoring, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
