Responsibilities

• Receive, safely use, and properly dispose of all radiopharmaceuticals and source materials, documenting activities as required by State and Federal regulations.
• Properly reconstitute, complete activity assays, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per Dose Schedules and Authorized User orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of workplace safety to prevent accidents/injuries and practice radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
• Wear radiation dosimeters at all times in controlled areas and submit samples for bioassay as needed.
• Schedule patient exams, including providing instructions to patients and staff regarding test preparations.
• Conduct daily surveys and weekly environmental wipe tests.
• Participate in rotating on-call assignments and fill in as backup for sick days and vacations.
• Properly operate and maintain all Nuclear Medicine equipment, reporting malfunctions to the Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
• State of Massachusetts Nuclear Medicine Technologist licensure.
• BLS Certification.
• ARRT or CNMT certification.

Schedule

Per Diem, covering sick calls, vacations, and on-call rotations. Work shift: Days.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $68.35 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, job responsibilities, and other applicable factors. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other additional pay practices.
