About the role

This position involves performing all Nuclear Medicine procedures and providing patient care to aid in accurate diagnosis. The role requires ensuring the delivery of compassionate, patient-focused care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols
  • Provide related patient care to ensure comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
  • Adhere to safety standards and radiation protocols
  • Stay updated with advancements in nuclear medicine technology

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program
  • Certification eligible for ARRT/NMTCB or equivalent
  • Current Washington Radiologic Technologist license
  • National Certified or Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum six months of nuclear medicine experience
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills

Key Duties

  • Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Follow safety and radiation protocols diligently
  • Document procedures and patient data meticulously
  • Collaborate with medical staff to support diagnostic processes
