About the Facility
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. Nuclear medicine technologists perform studies and tests using radioactive isotopes, employing advanced diagnostic technologies for imaging of the thyroid, heart, lung, bone, liver and kidney, as well as tumors, infection, and other problems.
Role Overview
As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will help ensure that the Imaging Services at Pali Momi provide quality diagnostic services and care for patients and their families by performing nuclear medicine procedures. The position requires excellent patient care skills, an appreciation for technical procedure and protocol, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successful completion of a nuclear medicine technologist training program.
- Current Hawai’i state Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year clinical nuclear medicine technologist experience.
Pay
Pay Range: $58.47 – $61.55 USD per hour. Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, training, and internal peer equity.
Schedule
Day shift – 8 hours.
