About the role

A licensed or registry-eligible Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET procedures with advanced imaging equipment, managing hot lab workflows, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate documentation within RIS, PACS, and Dose Management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures in collaboration with radiologists and cardiologists.
  • Manage radiopharmaceutical handling, calibration, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and imaging efficiency.

Qualifications and skills

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • NY State licensure or eligibility, with CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification.
  • CPR certification (obtained at hire).
  • Effective communication, teamwork, customer service, and teaching abilities.
  • Strong computer literacy, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
