Nuclear Medicine Technologist | Float | Full-Time

About the role

A position within Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging), a practice of Radiology Partners, where you'll perform nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations, provide excellent patient care, and maintain professional education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations and equipment.
• Properly position patients and equipment.
• Proficient in venipuncture.
• Select appropriate nuclear medicine and radiographic techniques.
• Process and display NM data on multiple workstation platforms.
• Work closely with radiologists to stay up-to-date with technological advancements.
• Utilize digital information systems such as RIS and PACS.
• Maintain quality assurance of NM schedules.
• Maintain personal professional education.
• Consciousness of ALARA principles.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), CPR, BLS, MRT, CEU credits maintained.
• Must be proficient in venipuncture.
• Knowledge of cardiac EKG set-up, QA procedures, and equipment maintenance.
• Efficient and courteous interaction with clinical personnel and patients.
