Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Encinitas
About the role
Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is a 42-year-old facility serving North County’s coastal communities. Located at Santa Fe Drive and I-5, it offers easy access to parks, fitness centers, grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. The hospital campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. Notable programs include a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services, a Baby Friendly birthing pavilion, and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific care, education, and imaging procedures under the guidance of the health care team.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities.
- Maintain clinical competency and meet mandatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- CNMT (California Department of Public Health – Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine) certification.
- Venipuncture skills.
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Nuclear Medicine.
- Experience in an imaging setting in a hospital or clinic.
Benefits
This position is eligible for up to $8k in New Hire Retention Incentives and relocation up to $3k if moving from 100+ miles away. The following are not eligible for hiring incentives: internal candidates, rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago, and transfers to other locations unless specifically noted in the offer letter.
Pay
The position pays $59.81-$86.71/hour.
