Nuclear Medicine Technologist
About the role
Under general supervision, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. This role involves preparing and administering radioactive drugs, operating imaging equipment, and monitoring patient safety. The technologist collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information and effective treatment plans.

Requirements
- Associate's degree
- Graduation from a Nuclear Medicine Technology program with a certificate or advanced degree accredited by an agency recognized by the USDE or CHEA
- Minimum of 2+ years of nuclear medicine experience
- Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the NMTCB required upon hire; or Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT (N), through the ARRT required upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the State of Maryland or Virginia (outpatient locations only, if applicable) required upon hire
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field preferred
