Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Nuclear Medicine Technician at White River Junction VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures using nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret results and provide recommendations
Requirements
- 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Certified License with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and practices
