About the role

Capture high-fidelity molecular diagnostics by expertly positioning patients and tailoring technical parameters to produce the precise images physicians rely on for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Manage the lifecycle of radiopharmaceuticals by overseeing the ordering, preparation, and safe administration of radioactive drugs to ensure diagnostic accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Champion a culture of safety by implementing rigorous radiation protection standards and disposal protocols, ensuring a secure and controlled environment for both your patients and your clinical team.
Deliver versatile imaging excellence by maintaining and operating advanced detection systems to map physiological processes, providing a comprehensive and efficient diagnostic experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-fidelity molecular diagnostics
  • Tailor technical parameters for precise images
  • Oversee radiopharmaceutical ordering, preparation, and administration
  • Implement radiation protection and disposal protocols
  • Maintain and operate advanced detection systems
  • Provide a comprehensive diagnostic experience

Requirements

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Certified Nuclear Medical Tech from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Graduate of an accredited education program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • PET/CT experience preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
  • Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited education program in Nuclear Medicine Technology by date of hire.
