Job Summary

Associate performs a variety of duties in preparing patients for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. He/she will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images and measure concentration of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. Associate maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff, and co-workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
  • Certified/eligible by CNMT or ARRT (N)
  • Possesses MRT from Texas Medical Board
  • One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred

Requirements

  • Call would require you to live within 30 min response time
  • Call is shared with current staff rotation and would be after 5PM on weekdays and 24 hrs on weekends
