Nuclear Medicine, Team Lead

About the role

The Nuclear Medicine, Team Lead position at Baptist Health is responsible for supervising a variety of technical procedures within Nuclear Medicine Imaging. This individual also supervises Nuclear Medicine Technologists within the Radiology Services department.

Responsibilities

• Apply low doses of radiation for the detection and treatment of pathology.
• Supervise Nuclear Medicine Technologists within the Radiology Services department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 2 years technical experience in Nuclear Medicine required.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT or CNMT Nuclear Medicine registry required.
• BLS required.

Skills

• Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Awareness of patient conditions at all times.

• Must be able to assist and maneuver patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
• Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Frequent reaching, use of hands, and repetitive actions.
• Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
• Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• Minimal noise levels.
