About the role
The Nuclear Medicine, Team Lead position at Baptist Health is responsible for supervising a variety of technical procedures within Nuclear Medicine Imaging. This individual also supervises Nuclear Medicine Technologists within the Radiology Services department.
Responsibilities
- Apply low doses of radiation for the detection and treatment of pathology.
- Supervise Nuclear Medicine Technologists within the Radiology Services department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a School of Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology required.
- Minimum 2 years technical experience in Nuclear Medicine required.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT or CNMT Nuclear Medicine registry required.
- BLS required.
Skills
- Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
- Ability to work within rigid time constraints.
- Awareness of patient conditions at all times.

- Must be able to assist and maneuver patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Frequent reaching, use of hands, and repetitive actions.
- Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
- Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Minimal noise levels.
