About the role
As a Nuclear Medicine-PET/CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.
Responsibilities
- Maintain competency in clinical and technical functions
- Verify patient identity and prepare patients for exams
- Execute exams according to established protocols
- Review image quality and ensure adherence to radiation safety regulations
- Document procedures accurately
- Provide patient education related to imaging procedures
Requirements
- Current state license
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- BLS and IV certifications
- At least one year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience
Preferred qualifications
- PET/CT experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Physical demands
- Ability to read labels and operate imaging equipment
- Capacity to lift and transfer patients
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to navigate busy clinical environments
Pay
Hourly rate ranges from $43.09 to $66.47, including a comprehensive benefits package.
