About the Role
This position involves providing patient care and monitoring with an empathetic approach, procuring, preparing, and performing quality control on radiopharmaceuticals, administering pharmaceuticals and contrast media, operating imaging and laboratory equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media
- Perform quality control on radiopharmaceuticals
- Operate imaging systems (SPECT/CT/PET/MR) and laboratory equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance
- Interact effectively with patients and staff
- Provide patient care and monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with a Nuclear Medicine Technology certificate or Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience
- Current NMTCB or ARRT (NM) registration
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
- NIH Human Subjects Certification
- BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Molecular or nuclear imaging experience (SPECT/CT/PET/MR)
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology
- Familiarity with NMIS, RIS, and HIS systems
- Strong judgment and time management
- Excellent communication and a professional, team-oriented attitude
Pay
$49.88 – $63.27 per hour
