About the role

As a Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) supporting the GE Healthcare imaging applications team, you will deliver clinical, technical, and operational expertise by providing excellent adult education and training for the Nuclear Medicine (NM) modality. As a clinical expert, you will enhance the customer experience by utilizing the Customer Learning Journey end-to-end training process and implementing your modality subject matter expertise to elevate customer education and training solutions.

This role involves analyzing technical learning needs, designing and delivering training solutions, and impacting departmental operations with a focus on execution within standard functional practices. Some judgment may be required, typically with guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product, clinical, and software knowledge, skills, and competence within the NM modality.
  • Correlate theoretical knowledge with clinical and product information to provide clinicians with the skills to obtain optimal performance from GE Healthcare equipment.
  • Provide pre-sale product clinical evaluations and/or educational sessions to potential customers.
  • In partnership with customers, develop and administer clinical training to end-user personnel aligned with the sales order agreement (SOA) to deliver excellent clinical education and achieve high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Collaborate and coordinate the delivery of customer training with a targeted integrated account management approach, including sales, project management, and other service teams in accordance with the SOA/terms and conditions.
  • Drive revenue realization through execution of on-site or remote clinical education delivery.
  • Produce comprehensive, consistent, and timely completion of documentation requirements pre- through post-training.
  • Provide ongoing post-installation training and support as needed over the lifecycle of the product.
  • Maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and escalate relevant product or customer concerns to the management team, field sales, marketing, customer loyalty leads, and technical support.
  • Work integrally with associated teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training to internal and external partners and customers.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, using prior experience and acquired expertise to execute policy and strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of imaging experience with at least 3 years of Nuclear Medicine modality experience.
  • Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the assigned territory of Illinois.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory (and nationally as business needs require), including 90+% travel (4-5 days per week, including overnights and some weekends) within the U.S. and Canada via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train, etc.).
  • ARRT or equivalent specific NM modality certification.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical/patient environment.
  • Proficient use of software applications such as Windows Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and ability to navigate other computer and web-based tools (intranet/internet/apps).
  • Ability to learn specialized industry-specific software and provide digital education and training solutions.
  • Required to register with one or more vendor credentialing services by various customer hospitals, which may include proof of immunization for mumps, measles, rubella (MMR), hepatitis, and drug testing/screening.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the relevant field).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of clinical experience (desired).
  • 5+ years of experience with GE NM modality (desired).
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical content in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong and effective teaching and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to sustain performance in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities.

Pay

For U.S.-based positions, the pay range for this role is $101,200.00–$151,800.00 annually. Compensation decisions depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
