About the role

Join us in advancing the state-of-the-art of thermal hydraulic testing capabilities in the Naval Nuclear Program. This highly rewarding position involves hands-on laboratory work to solve real-life complex engineering problems. Responsibilities include implementing test instrumentation and apparatus, specifying tests, processing data, and analyzing test results. You will collaborate with a team to develop test section design and advanced diagnostic techniques for high-temperature and high-pressure environments, ensuring testing meets the technical and timing needs of end users.

Requirements

Required combination of knowledge and skill:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent.
• Experience in two-phase testing.
• Experience working in projects/teams with multiple stakeholders.

All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Candidates must pass a drug test in compliance with company policy and 10 CFR 707.

Pay

Pay Range: $78,700.00 - $120,500.00 annually. Salary is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
