About the role
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, start intravenous and administer recommended amount of radioisotope. Performs stress testing, along with a variety of Nuclear Cardiac scanning on outpatients. Completes computer processing and analysis of all test data.
Responsibilities
- Administer intravenous and radioisotope treatments
- Perform stress testing and nuclear cardiac scans
- Process and analyze test data using computer systems
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT in Nuclear Medicine (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) within 12 months of employment
- New Jersey licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) granted through the American Heart Association within 12 months of hire
- IV certification granted through the hospital education department within 12 months of hire
Qualifications
- Knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine
- In-depth experience-based knowledge
- The ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families

Pay
Salary range provided to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.
