About the role

KMS Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide senior-level acquisition and technical support to NAVSEA PMS 340, supporting planning, execution, sustainment, and modernization efforts across Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Navy expeditionary programs. The role requires strong analytical capability and the ability to coordinate across programmatic, technical, and operational domains.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of acquisition programs, including tracking milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining acquisition documentation, schedules, life-cycle plans, and compliance materials.
  • Provide cost, schedule, and performance analysis and support program reviews and decision forums.
  • Assist in development, review, and coordination of technical documentation, system requirements, and test-related materials.
  • Support evaluation of system capabilities, technology upgrades, and mission impacts.
  • Coordinate meetings, reviews, and technical working groups with government and industry partners.
  • Prepare program communication materials such as reports, presentations, and summaries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in acquisition, technical analysis, program management, or defense program support. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Qualifications

  • More than 10 years of experience supporting defense acquisition or technical programs.
  • Master’s degree in a business or technical field.
  • PMP or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience supporting NSW, SOF, or JSOC programs.
  • Experience directing or supporting complex technical systems, certification processes, or maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with Navy ERP, PPBE processes, and DoD acquisition procedures.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
  • Must be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment.

Work Environment

  • Professional office environment.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Schedule

  • Typical workday is eight hours in length with some flexibility allowed, subject to supervisor concurrence.
  • Must be available during core work hours as determined by the contract/location.
  • Telework may be allowed up to 60%, subject to change based on business needs and customer requirements.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required, including CONUS and potential OCONUS travel.
