About the role
As a Locator at Centuri, your work is vital to ensuring our crews work safely by locating and marking the existing natural gas and sewer facilities. You will be responsible for field marking customer natural gas facilities for internal construction crews, receiving and managing customer phone calls, coordinating activities to resolve customer complaints and issues, gathering and recording sewer lateral depth measurements, providing daily and weekly production data reports, and coordinating with contractors for additional sewer lateral inspections.
Responsibilities
- Field mark customer Natural Gas Facilities for internal construction crews
- Receive and manage customer phone calls
- Coordinate activities to resolve customer complaints and issues
- Gather and record sewer lateral depth measurements in residential and commercial areas via push rod, tape measure, and sonde
- Provide a detailed address list of non-discovered sewer laterals requiring alternate means of discovery
- Provide daily and weekly production data reports
- Post informational door tags/letters notifying residents of our inspection procedures
- Coordinate with contractors to provide additional sewer lateral inspections as required
- Obtain and maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
