Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing projects from start to finish, including creating project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings, ensuring internal requirements, layout data, and customer-specific needs are met; analyze statistical process control (SPC) data and reduce risk priority numbers (RPN).
- Align product design with manufacturing processes and customer requirements to scale production while meeting exacting quality standards.
- Document program results and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, including deviations.
- Develop key Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) outputs: Capability Studies, Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA), inspection instructions, and collaborating with quality in the development of control plans.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to develop fixtures and job aids for smooth production launches.
- Contribute to innovative solutions for sophisticated product and process challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other related technical degree required.
- Ideal candidates will meet one of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years as an Engineer OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of NPI principles, including handling ECNs and integrating changes into quality planning.
- Experience working with quality on Control Plans, including conducting FMEAs and process flow diagrams.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings; skilled in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$76,000.00 - $141,100.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
Schedule
This role will work onsite, 5 days a week in Anoka and/or Blaine MN.
