NPD Specialist Program Manager – Nurse Residency

Position Summary

The NPD Specialist Program Manager – Nurse Residency will have primary organizational responsibility for all aspects of the MHS Nurse Residency program. This includes researching, planning, implementing, evaluating, and sustaining the program across the MHS Nursing Organization. The incumbent will lead efforts focused on improving the current nurse residency infrastructure and creating new residency initiatives informed by evidence and best practices. This position will also create and implement a business plan that operationalizes the formal residency procedures at the system, IBU, and department levels.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, PhD in Nursing, DNP, or ARNP preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
  • ANCC NPD specialty certification preferred; if not in possession at time of hire, must acquire within two (2) years of hire
  • Four (4) years of acute care nursing practice
  • Three (3) years of program management experience within an education role
  • Three (3) years of previous experience as unit educator, system educator, NPD Specialist/Generalist

Pay and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $145,808.00 - $205,545.60 USD
