Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student data using differentiated instructional strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and ongoing supervision to support a collaborative approach.
- Apply behavior management skills, including multi-tiered systems like PBIS and restorative practices.
- Maintain regular communication with parents as a key component of student support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree (experience in special education preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs or autism.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
