NP/PA- Primary Care (Pikeville, TN) Part-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care team on a part-time basis at our Bledsoe County clinic in Pikeville, TN. This provider will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families within the community, supporting both preventive and acute healthcare needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Tennessee regulations.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Participate in a team-based approach to care, coordinating care for patients and supporting patients/families/caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.
- Manage the practices' patient population.
- Participate in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the American Academy of Physician Assistants or Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Experience: One to three years experience in primary care setting.
