About the role
The Epilepsy Team at ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Neurology specialty practice. We are part of a diverse team that cares for a variety of acute and chronic neurologic conditions in the community. The ideal candidate should have prior Neurology experience and be comfortable working independently, with support and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Care for both Epilepsy/seizure and general neurology patients under the supervision of experienced Neurologists.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Cognitive Neurology, Neuromuscular, Neuroimmunology, Autoimmune Neurology, Headache, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Movement disorders specialists.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with ongoing neurologic needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Family, Adult, or Adult-Geriatric Acute Care, or as a Physician Assistant.
- Licensure or license eligible for Delaware as a Registered Nurse (or compact state) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as set forth by the Delaware Board of Nursing, or licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Delaware Board of Medicine.
- Current certification by the appropriate national organization for area of specialty.
- Prescriptive authority, including State of Delaware Controlled Substances and Federal DEA licensures.
- This position may require Maryland licensure and credentialing at Union Hospital.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- Neurology experience preferred.

Pay
$112,554.00 - $139,477.00 annually
Schedule
Full-time Monday-Friday position.
