NP/PA Hematology Oncology Opportunity in Nags Head, NC

About the role

ECU Health Physicians in partnership with The Outer Banks Health Cowell Center, an ACoS Commission on Cancer accredited program located in Nags Head, North Carolina, are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing oncology practice. Applicants with oncology experience are preferred. Providers with bone marrow biopsy experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work in a state-of-the-art accredited cancer center located 2 blocks from the beach with 10 infusion spaces, 4 exam rooms, radiation therapy Vital Beam linear accelerator, large boardroom for community and team meetings, image renewal services, nurse navigation, and healing gardens.
• Enjoy a 4-day work week, No call.
• Participate in multidisciplinary cancer committee structure with monthly tumor boards and bi-monthly breast tumor boards.
• Support from the ECU Health Cancer Center multidisciplinary team in Greenville, NC.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience in oncology preferred.
• Bone marrow biopsy experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Practice or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care.
• Must have completed a residency program in the applicable field.
• Must be eligible for NC licensure.
• Must be Board Certified or eligible for certification.
