About the role
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Works within Cardiac Centers of Excellence programs, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care delivery, including patient follow-ups, consults, and telehealth visits to meet increasing same-day access needs.
- Occasional outreach to neighboring sites as needed.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
- May perform procedures under guidance and support.
- Opportunities for specialized training, certification, and research.
- Eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR.
- National certification in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
- Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
- Current certification in CPR.
- National certification.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
