Rope Access Technician Roles

  • Manage the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities.
  • Organize work functions specific to rope access jobs.
  • Supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights.

Responsibilities

The Rope Access technicians are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.

Requirements

  • IRATA or SPRAT Level I, II, III Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling.
  • Valid drivers license preferred.
  • Required certification levels for specific projects.
  • Must have industrial refinery experience.
  • Must have mechanical industrial experience.
  • PREFERRED INDIVIDUAL WITH THE NCCER CERTIFICATION (TRAINED INDIVIDUAL).
  • Valid TIWC card preferred or be able to obtain.

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers license preferred.
  • Required certification levels for specific projects.
  • Must have industrial refinery experience.
