About the role
Acuren is currently recruiting for Rope Access Advanced NDT Techs to support our operation in Corpus Christi, TX.
Requirements
- IRATA Level 3 Certification required
- A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments
- Some college preferred
- Current NDT certifications in any combination of the following methods: MT/PT/UT/UTT/VT/PMI/RT/DR/CR
- Technical background in NDT (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) and procedures with five years experience
- Current first aid certification
- Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
- Local to Corpus Christi, TX or surrounding area
Skills
- Multi-certified in RT/MT/PT/UT/PMI, or VT are a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Supervisory experience is a plus
